The Ocoee Lions Club, in association with the Ocoee Police Department, The Ocoee Rotary Club and The Ocoee Woman’s Club will be hosting the second annual SHRED TO PROTECT event at the Ocoee Police Department headquarters, 646 Ocoee Commerce Pkwy, Ocoee, FL 34761, on March 14, 2020 from 9am to 11:45am. The community will be allowed to bring up to 5 boxes of paper for shredding. The first box is free and a $5 donation is requested for boxes 2 through 5.
This event gives the security to those dropping confidential papers off to be shredded on site. Last year we had two trucks ready for the filling where over 200 people participated, and we will again have two shredding trucks. A person drives up and the boxes of papers are dropped off and instantly destroyed in the SHRED IT truck.
We are seeking sponsors of this event. The sponsorship will include your company/personal name posted on event signage. You can provide pamphlets about your business which will be placed in a bag that is given to every participant.
